Throughout the last few weeks of being in the fire academy and registering for medic school, I've been thinking about the direction I want to take my training. I haven't had nearly enough time or energy to dedicate to multiply lifting. Although I LOVE competing in gear, it just isn't feasible for me at this point in time. My medic program starts in the middle of January and lasts about one year. With the demanding clinical hours along with the classroom time and trying to work as much as possible, I can't afford to be in the gym for three hours like I would be as a multiply lifter. I think I'm going to follow the lead of teammate and good friend Joe Schillero on where he's been taking his raw training. Although we won't be doing the same thing, I just really think I'll enjoy a similar structure as to what Joe is doing. Check out his training log if you're unfamiliar. Will I do a raw meet in the future for the hell of it? Who knows? I'm just trying to have fun right now and build up my base.
