Lily and I headed to the compound a little earlier than we normally do today. Just kinda worked out that way. We live life more relaxed and enjoy spending time together and don't really stress about being places at any specific time. It really is great.

As for training Lily is putting in some time learning and working her new Metal squat suit and I am doing some testing of a new Metal "M Short" single ply brief. It really is a joy training with her and she has renewed my passion for life.

worked up to 325 doing triples raw

put on Metal short briefs

worked up to 410 for 4 sets of 3 reps

465 for 1 set of 3 reps

 

deadlifts off 6 inch blocks

worked up to doing triples to 585

635 for a single

 

I was pretty well exhausted after that. I like the briefs a lot and they protect my hips well without supporting my hamstrings, quads or wanting to pull my knees in. I want to do some more work in them but so far I think they have a place in the arsenal of gear.
