This week (week 6) starts wave 4 of my current training block. Five more weeks until my next competition, the US Strongman April Fool's Strongman Competition at Brute Strength Gym in Norfolk, VA. Now that my left oblique is healed up from the random strain I sustained back in wave 1 - week 1, everything seems to be progressing nicely according to plan.

4x235 - This felt a lot harder than it should have and during the following set I realized my grip was almost totally biased off center on the handles during this set. Stupid mistake.

18x80'xprowler+50 - I have no idea where this came from as this is a huge improvement. Could be due to the warmer weather (finally), but whatever the reason, I hope it wasn't an aberration. I have been doing my prowler conditioning with a 10 minute time limit (except for my deload week, which was just a set number) and started with 8 runs on my first light conditioning day (Mondays) and am now up to 18 runs after 5 weeks. If I get similar results next week it will be time to bump up the weight. This also gave me the black lung for about an hour post-training.
