Block 10, Wave 3 - OH

Today was good, not just because I did good to quite good on everything, but even better because I remembered to implement all planned changes due to the fact that I actually went back and checked my training notebook (a novel idea, I know).  Also, I wrecked shop on conditioning, which points to my recent improvements not being a fluke.  Time will tell if this translates to me not dying next time I train with Steve at Iron Athletics.

Back Extensions/Paused Band ER

2x{15x45+5xBW/12ea x mini band}

Despite the fact that I am getting stronger/better on reverse hypers, I am sucking the hind teat at present on regular hypers (45 degree back extensions).  This serves to show me that I need to do these a minimum of twice a week and three times would be better.  It is still my funky sacralized side of my low back that gets blown up fast with fatigue, so it seems that I don't use that side as much in the course of doing other exercises due to the increased bony stability compared to my normal side.

At this point in training, I headed to the Unit to do conditioning with the prowler.  I'll bring my baby home to the garage gym once I am able to train snatch and clean and jerk at home base.

Prowler Push

10x100' x prowler + 90 - My only rest was a 100' walk between 100' pushes, so this was somewhere between a 1:1 and 1:2 work to rest ratio.
