Well after a few weeks of bs training, resting, rehabbing, sucking my thumb and feeling sorry for myself....My Team is back in meet training mode.

I feel broken. I mean I kinda am but mentally broken. Not being able to really train has been tough on the old-man. When you do something day in and day out for 30 years of your life and then all of the sudden you cant for weeks its, well depressing and freaking sucks!

Several of my teammates are getting prepared for the IPA Tennessee State Championship meet in March. I'm looking forward to this meet for several reason but one of the biggest is that all my girls are competing. The girls at the gym have been very dedicated for this off season and they have defiantly been putting in all of the work. I can't say the same for the boys unfortunately. Most of them have new women, new hobbies, new jobs and have become increasingly lazy the last few weeks, not everyone just a few. Hopefully before too long I can get these boys back on track and in training mode but that is a decision that they will have to make.

For myself I decided to join in on the powerlifting soiree today. I'm still very limited on what I am able to do right now. My broken forearm bone is in 10 weeks recovery as we speak but I felt like I needed to do something today. So I did a little bit of benching, imagine that. Not much but enough to feel some weight in my hand but I shut it down when I could feel my arm was not up to the task.

I will continue to monitor myself week by week and try to take it easy. Let me emphasize try, remember I am a stupid meathead powerlifter.
