DE DL/SQ @ ISCF

Having bought a used belt squat over the weekend and brought it home to Iron Strong on Saturday night, I of course had to put it to use in my training today.  The belt squat was fabricated by a friend of mine down in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, Chad Dunn.  It is one solid MFer, as is all the equipment he has ever made.  I also have to thank Alvin, the owner of Iron Asylum, who sold it to me since they are in the process of buying some new equipment, and Mark and Sean for telling me about it and putting me in touch with Alvin.

The only downside of having a belt squat is that I don't have a belt squat belt yet.  I ordered a Spud Inc. one, but it won't be here til next week (this is my fault for delaying ordering).  So i used my dip belt instead and it felt like I was going to squeeze my insides to the outside. This was the first and last time I'll be doing that.
