We got some new Westside Barbell equipment at S5 and one piece that I have never used before. That piece is the Inverse Curl which I am curious about and will test out today.

The first Westside piece I used today was the Ultra Supreme Reverse Hyper. It is similar to the one we have had for years except the top is adjustable and can be positioned to stress different muscles. I worked up to 180 for a few sets and it is a very nice piece.

 

Next I used the  Westside Inverse Curl. I had no idea how to use it but it's simple. HOWEVER the movement is very challenging and it really forces the user to engage their hamstrings. I will be doing a lot of these.

Today I used 4 plates of assistance for a few sets and 3 plates and a quarter for a few sets. Very challenging and I'm positive I'm going to be sore.
