"I hate squats."  My go-to, whiny statement before every single squat session.  Really though, why do I "hate" them.  Aside from the annoyance of getting wrapped for 5 heavyish sets, I really just hate them because they're my worst lift. Oh I know, how bratty of me to hate them just because I'm not good at them, whatever.  Really this is totally besides the point, entirely.  Today went better than I expected.  I haven't really known what to expect with training ever since I lost weight, but it would appear that I am basically on par with how I was last year at this point, which is extremely exciting.  All there is left to do is show up, make weight, and lift some weights.

I hit 415x1, just 5 lbs off of my best training squat from last year.  I was pretty excited to say the least.  ALWAYS room for improvement here, and I really plan to work on that after this meet.
