Heavy Upper

My three week Winter semester starts up tomorrow (Tuesday) which will be interesting since I have 2 weeks of classes and then final exams.  I already know I will be out of town across the bridge on Friday and Saturday this week for school at UMROI/Kernan Rehab Hospital.  I'm keeping my training simple during this time with 2 scheduled gym training days plus event day sometime on or around the weekend.  Following that I plan to add a 3rd gym day if possible, depending on my Spring schedule which I don't know yet.

As I've said before, this is the first time in literally years that I have been able to do any type of barbell incline bench press without being limited by pain in my left shoulder, even when I had no active injury or pain in my shoulder at any other time.  There is definitely a strength difference from right to left that I think is actually a stability difference, since my right arm got to lockout faster than my left on 275 and also on the last rep of all three of the triples at 250, which is something I haven't experienced since way back well before I ever got involved in strongman.  Good news is this gives me a target for some of my assistance exercises to continue to develop strength on incline bench and it's up 10 lbs over my previous PR on this exercise from a couple months ago.
