After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

Well my Sunday night training didn't go nearly as planned. I ended up working a 12 hour day, then came to the gym to bust out some frustration by going after my legs. It's part of the process right now with keeping things running smoothly, but it was just not the Sunday I had really hoped. I made the best of it and enjoyed training so I guess there is that.

A1) Lying Leg Curls
4x10; then 2 drop sets on the last set with a 20 sec iso hold to finish it off

B1) True Squat vs Band
Worked up to a tough set of 8 reps, beating last week yet again

C1) Leg Extensions
4x10; then a drop set of death doing 3 drops

D1) Single Leg RDL
4x10 per leg
