When B walked into our gym almost a year ago, I knew we had something with her. Brittany is a breath of fresh air. A true Teammate. A constant, on time, never miss, very driven young lady that refuses to quit and refuses to not succeed at what she has grown to love in the past several months.

As I have gotten to know B (we actually spend alot of time together with her in and out of the gym) I have grown to love this woman more and more. She has become one of our very close and good friends that I can trust, lean on and as she has gotten to know us. I"m sure she feels the same way too.

She understands that we are a family and a very tight knit group of individuals at Team Nebobarbell and I think deep down she was looking for something like that to be apart of but did not realize in the beginning that she may have found what she was looking for and is also realizing that she has a talent for something that she was unaware of. In just a few words Brittany is strong as fuck!

During this training cycle she tweaked her hamstring pretty bad. We helped her rehab it and I did not let her deadlift for several weeks heading into this meet. I didn't want to take any chances of her re-injuring it or making it worse in anyway. I also had to keep her reassured for a few weeks that she would be fine and that she would not loose any strength during this "healing" phase.

Britt trusted me and did as I advised and kept plugging away. She stayed confident and driven and as we came into to our opener week. I allowed her to pull for the first time and take her opener. She killed it and had no pain! I could tell her confidence went through the roof and she was now ready to smash some PR's in a couple of weeks!

Brittany, in her first meet posted the highest total by any female that has ever competed at Team Nebobarbell over the years. As you can see all of her individual lifts have increased as well as her total after this 2nd meet of hers. Keep an eye out for this wonderful, talented young lady in the future. She is just getting started!

I am very proud of you B! I love you very much and can not wait to watch you blossom in this sport of powerlifting!
