Oronde Dayday Carson - 19 Years Old - Team Nebobarbell
Where do I begin....
In March 2014 Dayday walked into Team Nebobarbell. He was quite, shy, uncertain and not sure if this was for him or not.
Fast forward 4 years and 7 months later....
Day has taken to the sport of powerlifting like a fish to water. As time went on, month after month his technique got better, his drive became more evident, his personality grew, he was getting stronger and most importantly his confidence was growing by leaps and bounds.
This young mans heart is as big as his smile. He has an infectious way about him. A way that I love. He has become one of my favorite lifters to watch compete. Everything looks effortless and well, easy. Day has also become a silent leader in the gym and a force to be recon with in the gym and on the platform.
He is just now hitting his stride and his abilities are limitless. His lifts continue to improve meet by meet and my love for this young man grows day by day.
I love you Day with all I am. I would take you as my own son in a heartbeat. I am so proud of you in and out of the gym. I can not wait to see what you do next and how far you can go in this sport! Keep your head held high young man. I will be there the entire way cheering you on , believing in you and having your back.
