Melissa Smith - 44 Years Old - Team Nebobarbell
Melissa Smith continues to amaze me meet after meet. The obstacles she has overcome in preparation for this meet has been nothing short of amazing!
Each of us knew at the beginning of this training cycle that this would be her best performance on the platform and she did not disappoint. I can not express in words how proud I am of my wife.
In just two years Melissa has competed in 4 different weight classes (114, 123, 132, 148) and has made huge improvements each and every time she has stepped onto the platform.
This meet was her shining moment on achieving what so many lifters battle their entire career to attain....A Pro Open Elite Total. Melissa did just that! Melissa has become our 2nd female to achieve a Pro Open Elite Total and she has done so at the age of 44 years old! Age aint nothing but a number! I love you my Queen!

- 1st Place Women's Open/IPA World Champion - 132 Weight Class - Full Power Raw
- 1st Place Women's Master/IPA World Champion - 132 Weight Class - Full Power Raw
- Set new IPA Master 132 Weight Class World Record Deadlift
- Achieved her Pro Open Elite Total - 132 Weight Class
