Team Nebobarbell Athlete Oronde Dayday Carson competed in his first powerlifting meet this past weekend. 7 Team Nebobarbell Athletes competed at this meet. The powerlifitng meet being held was The IPA Press Fitness Tennessee State Championships held in Murpfreeboro, Tennessee. Dayday had a huge first meet. Dayday is 17 years old, is a senior at McDowell High School here in Marion, NC and has been training at Nebobarbell for 2 years now. Here is what he accomplished:
Dayday competed in the Teen Division/Full power raw/308 weight class:
- 9 for 9 on attempts
- PR - 455 pound squat
- PR - 250 pound bench-press
- PR - 455 pound deadlift
- PR - 1160 pound total
- 1st Place Victory - Teen/Raw Full Power/308 weight class
- Set a new NC IPA raw teen squat record
- Set a new NC IPA raw teen bench-press record
- Set a new NC IPA raw teen deadlift record
- Set a new NC IPA raw teen total record
- Set a new all time IPA World Record for Teen/Full Power Squat/308 weight class
- Set a new all time IPA World Record for Teen/Full Power Deadlift/308 weight class
