My elbow is still pretty sore from my fall on the 20th. I decided to do a little today and see how it felt.
dumbbell press
20's for 10 reps
35's for 2 sets of 15 reps
55's for 10 reps
35's felt okay but the 55's felt awful. Left elbow was not happy about this decision.
t-bar rows
worked up to 5 plates for 3 sets of 8 reps
These didn't bother my elbow at all...this gives me a little optimism.
shoulder fly machine
90 for 3 sets of 20 reps
10 minutes of ultrasound on my left elbow.
I really don't know what is going on with this elbow. There is no noticeable bruising and no notable swelling. Sometimes it is just sore for no reason but when I put extension pressure on it there is pain on either side of the joint. Contraction or curling of the joint does not cause discomfort. Right now my plan is to wait another week and if it's not better make an appointment to see the doctor.
