The day to put a bar on my back is finally here. My body feels good and mentally I need to train. I squatted with Dave today and it took my thoughts back many years to when I first started training with him. Things were very, very different then...simpler.

SS Yoke bar squats to high box

worked up doing sets of 5 to 315 for 2 sets of 5 reps

365 for a set of 3 reps

405 for a set of 2 reps

495 for 3 sets of 2 reps

 

dimel deadlifts

135 for 5 sets of 10 reps

 

hypers

body weight for 3 sets of 20 reps

 

Things moved and felt good today. Dave and I maintained a pretty quick pace with the squats and I was pretty fatigued. This was also a nice stress reliever and I felt like I actually did something.
