Overall training is going good. Life in general is a little undefined but moving forward and hopefully will have more clarity soon. Training at the compound on Tuesdays is nice and I think pulling heavy through the week will help me to finally break the 700 barrier in a meet. As for today’s training here is what was done….

 

Warm-ups

Stationary bike (3 minutes), Indian club swings, band pull aparts, hammer curls

 

Deadlifts

135 for a few

225 for 2 sets of 5 reps

315 for 3 singles

405 for 3 singles

 

Hack squats using the EliteFTS Hack Squat Machine

Sled for 20 reps

1 plate per side for 20 reps

2 plates per side for 4 sets of 20 reps

 

Hip rotations

3 sets of 20 each leg

 

Cable crunches

50 for 3 sets of 20 reps

 

Things felt off today and I didn’t push it. I don’t know if I’m getting sick or if it’s just the frigid cold but I didn’t feel strong and felt off balance. Hopefully I’ll feel better Thursday.
