Headed out to the compound today for some lower body work. Having not trained lower body this past weekend I’m feeling pretty well rested and ready to go. Here is what I did….

 

Warm-ups

Stationary bike, rumble roller, Indian club swings, hip rotations

 

Wall squats

5 sets of 5 reps

 

Belt squats to a low box

45 for 15 reps

90 for 5 sets of 15 reps

 

Hack squats

1 plate per side for 3 sets of 10 reps

2 plates per side for 3 sets of 10 reps

 

Back attack machine

45 for 10 reps

90 for 10 reps

135 for 3 sets of 10 reps

 

Standing cable crunches

50 for 3 sets of 20 reps

 

Solid session today. I’ve been hitting the back attack pretty hard and it has helped with keeping my hips locked while squatting.
