*2.5 Weeks Out From RPS Lexen Spring Fling*

On my heavy lower body days I've been alternating SSB Good Mornings and SSB Box Squats, but now that I'm 2.5 weeks from the meet I'm just doing lighter assistance work volume on that heavy day. Yesterday was 6x10 on straight leg deadlifts as the main movement, and even with just using 225lbs my hamstrings are really sore today. I think after this competition I'm going to do a lot more straight leg DL and deficit volume, and really try to hammer my back and hamstrings a lot more (might try some of Steve Goggins' deadlift program). I normally do some upper back on this day as well, but my biceps tendon was still really hurting so I held off. I also used straps for the straight leg DLs to take some pressure off my biceps.

Warm Up: 5 mins Incline Treadmill Walk

A. Seated Machine Hamstring Curls - 6x10

B. Straight Leg Deadlifts - 6x10 w/ 225lbs

C. Heavy Cable Ab Pulldowns - 4x8
