After coming off my best meet performance of my career, I am now officially a beat up powerlifter. I'm having some minor low back issues that I'm working on mending up, and then I'll begin to find a competitive option. My goals for 2017 are to compete in a bodybuilding show and also get back to the platform 100% healthy.

Well I've finally got another week in the books. This was a pretty good successful week for my back, and finally getting back into the bench shirt after nearly two years. While there is still a ton of work to be done, I feel like my raw bench press has seen some good progress, and the way the bench shirt is feeling, I should be able to put together a few good strings of meets. This following week I'll probably pick out some meets to start ramping up for, and slowly keep increasing the weights while keeping the back good and healthy. Only two more weeks of rehab based work, and we can get back to some light squatting and benching.
