After coming off my best meet performance of my career, I am now taking some time to focus on competing in bodybuilding over the spring of 2017. My nutrition coaching is through Cliff Wilson, and I have not yet determined the shows I'm competing in at this time.

Week 5 wasn't exactly the best training week I've had, with the minor low back issues, but I seemed to pick up some good strides toward the tail end of things. The weight is dropping slowly, but still moving in the right direction at least. Hopefully next week is a bit better. I think with the low back stuff, and just how much I've been training, I'm going to make my 7th week a "deload" from all the powerlifting movements and get the bar out of my hand and give my spine a break. We'll see how I feel after week 6 I guess.
