After coming off my best meet performance of my career, I am now officially a beat up powerlifter. I'm having some minor low back issues that I'm working on mending up, and then I'll begin to find a competitive option. My goals for 2017 are to compete in a bodybuilding show and also get back to the platform 100% healthy.

Well, while I'm a beat up powerlifter, the videos still aren't nearly as exciting since I'm still unable to squat/deadlift. However, my bench press is feeling super good right now. So much in fact, that next week I'm going to toy around with the idea of getting in my Metal Jack bench shirt and see about hitting a few meets in that with bench only. So while one door closes, a really cool door might be opening for the next 6-8 months.
