Today was a good training day all around from everyone who was there, but especially Marc.  He nailed a 220 farmer's walk for 60' with no drops at a body weight of 165 after only training strongman for a couple months.  For those not well versed in the strongman vernacular, that is 220 lbs per hand!  Oh yeah, and he also did it with no drops.  So everything else came second to that, but the seconds were still pretty nice.

Log C&J (clean each rep)

complex x 85

complex x 135

complex x 185

3x225

2x{1x225/1x245/1x265}

1x235/1x255/1x275 - For these sets, I did a rep, put it down, then my training partners loaded a 10 on each side, did another rep, put it down, and they loaded another 10 on each side.  This felt harder than I think it should have.

Farmer's Walk

60'x110

60'x200

60'x250

60'x310

60'x350 - I tripped and dropped the handles at about 56' or 57' and had to repick to finish the run.  It was definitely not fast, but this is the heaviest farmer's I've done in months as my deadlift (or lack thereof) was previously holding my back by limiting my picks.  It also just dawned on me that this might be a distance PR for this weight as I have traditionally limited my heavy farmer's walking (more than 310/315)to 50' runs.

Backwards Drags

90'xprowler+140

5x90'xprowler+190 - Most of the guys I train with now had never done these before so everyone's quads were exploding after about the second run.
