Got back from traveling down to VA to see my family to celebrate a late Christmas late last night and everything today felt like I was moving through knee deep cold mud.  I have had a lot a of stuff to do just like most others around this time of year and it has thrown my schedule all to hell, which tends to really mess me up until I can get back to normal, but at least I have been able to stick to my programming and not have to miss any training days.  The going feeling right now is that we are going to deload at the end of this 6 week training block, even though the programmed deload is optional depending on how we are doing and feeling - we are doing pretty well overall, but feeling like increasingly large piles of dookie.

Squat

10x55

5x145

3x235

1x285

5x315

3x355

5x400 - My technique on this set was complete excrement of the highest (or lowest, whichever is worse) order.

BB Hip Thrusts

6x135

12x185

12x195

12x205

12x215

Paused Bulgarian Split Squats (pause on the 5s)

20ea x BW - I did this to myself only because Marc went first and he did it to himself first so I had to prove I was at least as big an idiot as he was.  To clarify, that was a 5" pause on the 5th rep, 10" pause on the 10th rep, 15" pause on the 15th rep, and 20" pause on the 20th rep - for each leg.  A strong thanks from the bottom of my underoos to Virginia Tech S&C Coach Terry Mitchell for teaching me that one when I interned for him many moons ago.

2x15ea x BW

Back Plank/DB Bent Press/Single Leg Calf Raise

3x{30"x50/10ea x 35/25ea x BW}

And with that, the struggle bus has finally arrived at the station and all passengers may now disembark.
