Today was a solid training day all around. Everyone had at least one strong performance or area of improvement and despite getting about 5 inches of snow in the morning yesterday, most of it was melted thanks to the relatively warm temps preventing the ground from being frozen so nothing stuck to the roads.
Log C&J (clean each rep)
complex x 85
complex x 135
complex x 175
3x225
2x3x245
3x265 - I was just testing the waters with cleaning each rep today to make sure I didn't have any recurrence of funk in my elbows. So far so good.
Farmer's Walk
100' x 110
100' x 200
100' x 250
100' x 310 - I switched the longer distance farmer's from 100' with a turn to a 100' straight course today. I definitely started to run out of steam on the last 25 feet or so. Grip was not a problem, but apparently I'm not used to maintaining speed for that long of a run right now.
Atlas Stone Shouldering (tackyless)
4x200
2x4x240 - These all felt very strong and explosive today.
Prowler
8x100' x prowler + 140 - 3 man rotation.
Congratulations to all my teammates and friends who competed or are still competing at the Arnold. I wish I could have made the trip this year, but school put the damper on that plan this time around. I have seen some absolutely outstanding athletes achieve incredible accomplishments so far though,
