I had to train in the afternoon rather than the morning today due to a community service project for one of my classes.  My team and I, along with several other volunteers, helped build a wheelchair ramp on the front of a house down in Crisfield.  The guys who were running the project have built over a hundred ramps around the Eastern Shore and they also do other projects as well like putting new roofs on houses.  I enjoyed this since I have done a good amount of construction and building work at times in the past and don't get the chance to do it very often anymore.  I felt a little worn out going into training, but it ended up being a surprisingly solid day.  This was how I have my training planned out, but since things don't always go according to plan, it was nice to know I'm still on track.

Circus DB

band warmup

3ea x 115

2ea x 135

1ea x 155

3x1ea x 175 - I tried out the new Metal orange wrist wraps (100cm) today and I'll be ordering them as soon as possible.

Yoke

2x60'x250

60'x450

60'x540

60'x650 - My time here for 60' was on par for a 50' run so I was flying.

60'x740 - This run felt like barely more than the empty yoke.  My time was a little slower than 650 (obviously), but still good for the distance.  I had to remind myself that this is what is supposed to happen and even though it's the first time in a couple months that yoke hasn't felt awful, I needed to stop instead of going up more.
