Damn has it already been 12 weeks of off season training for me? Wow, seems like I just competed last week!

After my meet in December I knew I was going to need some time off from heavy lifting and to get some body parts healed up.

By the way if you missed my last meet video from December 2016 her it is:

Squat - 900 pounds - 50 pound PR for multiply - 750 pound was best raw meet squat
Bench - 145 pounds - my right pec was tweaked really bad, I had to take token bench
Deadlift - 650 pounds - 100 pound PR for multiply - 615 pound was best raw meet pull

During the 2 weeks off after the meet and the 12 weeks of off season training I have tried to accomplish several things:

1. Get healthy - physically and mentally
2. Get my tweaked pec back functioning and to where I can bench again
3. Bring my raw power back to life upper and lower
4. Give my body a break from the grind of multiply and heavy ass weight on my old ass
5. Have a little fun doing body building bullshit and just have fun lifting
6. Work on helping develop my new lifters at the gym
7. Get my body in better shape
8. Figure out what my next meet/meets will be
9. Figure out what my next projections will be for the next meet I do
10. Make myself an even better Coach than ever before with my Team. Helping them in more ways to continue their success.

After these 14 weeks, I do feel like all 10 of these things have been done. I still have plenty to work on though. As the gym bros say - The Grind never stops....gym bros....

I will be starting up my new training cycle in hopes to either compete in July and October or just get two training cycles under me and do just October. Its time to become a gear whore again....

Here are some training videos of me working on getting healthier, stronger and better over the past 12 weeks of off season training:
