Dear Deadlift,

I know that you and I dont see eye to eye on really anything. I alienate you, talk bad about you and despise the sight of seeing you on the ground looking right at me. In turn You like that you frustrate me. You like to make me mad, hurt my feeling, tear my hands, piss all over my ego and you love the despair you see in my eyes when its time to meet one another.

DL its time to change things between me and you. Lets call it a compromise so to speak. A deal. Fuck it lets meet half way. I will not alienate you anymore by putting your siblings - the squat and bench ahead of you, I promise I will not degrade you in the gym any further and lastly I will not look at you with hate but....look at you with a smile of pleasure so we can gain a friendship. A bond.

We will still battle with each other. We might even get loud with each and say stupid things at times but even friends do that sometime. Together we will motivate one another and attain goals together. This forge of iron will be forever. If your ready I am too.
