Due to scheduling conflicts with a few of our teams mates we have decided to start doing late night squats every other Friday night. That way everyone can get the proper spotting, support, help and coaching needed. We usually get started around 630 pm and don't leave until around 11 pm. It makes for a long night but its actually an awesome atmosphere with 10-15 people squatting at the same time. We have added the element of bring food, drinks and even beer to keep us energized hydrated and a few special people intoxicated LOL.

We have just recently added four new teammates which happen to be all women to our team. If you know me, you know that I love to coach women and add more women power lifters to our sport. Women are ten times easier to coach because the listen, they don't have egos like men, and women are actually just as competitive as men when you have a bunch of them training together. We now have 10 active women lifters at Team Nebobarbell and this could not make me any happier. Our girls are very fierce and determined in the gym but also very supportive of each other.

For myself I didn't train any tonight. It allowed me to wrap knees, work on my lifters technique, call depth and yell at people lol. As I have gotten deeper into my power lifting career I actually enjoy the coaching side as much as the competitive side of me lifting. Luckily now I am still doing both except I am on the mend right now. I feel what we have at our gym is extremely special. We are not like other gyms. We do not have drama, ego manics, or in house fighting where everyone is trying to fuck each other over. We have a family. Yeah its dysfunctional like any family, but a family none the less. I never see a group bigger than ours at any meets that we attend, lifter wise or attendance in the crowd. It doesn't matter if we have 1 lifter or 20, 9 times out of 10 the whole team comes to support. Not one member is any more important than anyone else. That's why I feel its so special. That type of atmosphere may not be for everyone but I feel its perfect for us.

This is what I did for recovery again as my back is getting better but not ready to push:

- Chiro visit
- Inversion table
- Body Buffering
- Hydro Message
- Band stretches ala Donnie Thompson stuff
