Yep its that time for the dreaded deload week!

I love how the so called hardcore type say deloading: is BS and you don't need it, it really does not work, its stupid and its a waste of time....I guess when these so called experts opinions start to matter to me then I might care but I don't and will not conform to "their" thoughts on this subject matter.

I know my body better than anyone. I can tell when my body is taking a beating and its time to throttle back, rehab, rest up and take a step back. Deloading has always benefited me, period. A runner just don't keep running. At some point they have to catch their breath and regroup.

I'm not trying to win the battle, im trying to win the war....

Most of my week consisted of these things every other day, along with more sleep, added food intake and more kicking my feet up:

Foam rolling
Stretching
Body Tempering - elbows, forearms, quads, hammies, calves
Band Flossing - elbows, knees
Travel stick - on quads
Inversion Table
Hammer Swings
