- I was really looking forward to today to try and test my double overhand from the floor. I am only basing my percentage numbers off of a 500 pound deadlift using only double overhand. I know it seems very light to use but my left hand was already pathetic to begin with, then after bicep reattachment surgery and not using my left arm/hand for 16 weeks really made it even more pathetic. It is taking some time to get the left hand to comply and get stronger. Each week is getting better. This week was another success. We have been doing a lot of overload work on our pulls with bands/chains/4" blocks/2"blocks/1" blocks and so forth. Now its time to start test that this overload movements has been working and now work from the floor with straight weight and see where we are....
