I am full blown sick as fuck right here. I have the flu and most of our Team does. All of these sets felt heavy today. Lifting sick sucks but so does sucking. I lifted anyways and got through my work sets successfully.

The next drop in my band progression today was to the EliteFTS Pro Light Resistance Band. This band was choked on our 7' tall power rack. This band does not do a lot for me in terms of helping me say as much as the bigger bands but that's the purpose at this stage in my training. By holding my projection weight every two weeks and taking that weight to a 1board, I grow confident in holding and handling this weight with each rep. I am conditioning my body every two weeks to acclimate to this weight and wing myself off the bands to straight weight.

I have had continued success with this style of training for years with my shirted benching. I gauge the amount of work sets I am going to do each week by how I am feeling and how the session is going. If I am feeling good I will throw in another set or two. If I am feeling really good I will take at lease one more heavier set to at least a 2board for some overload training. Its more off of feel for me at this point. Quality is my main focus now. Make every lift count. Dial in my technique. Do not miss a lift. Do not get hurt. Build confidence and move forward. Its just that simple for me....
