At this point I was done. I was supposed to deadlift too, but my lower back was spasming and hurt bad enough to where I couldn't stand up straight with out pain. I ended up having to take a percocet to get the pain under control and able to function. I hope it was just an issue for the day and will subside soon. I have a massage therapy session scheduled for tomorrow with a new therapist so I hope he'll be able to give me some relief too.
My friends Dakota and Kaitlin Lowery drove down to visit and train today. Dakota is trying to get comfortable with his straps up and dial it in for the OBB meet in a few weeks and I hope I was able to help him out. It's always good to see them and I look forward to seeing what he can do at the meet.
