I have really gotten behind as of late. I have had the flu for like 2 weeks now. I have had to take some days off from work and training just because I am so weak.
It really sucks balls because I just had the best bench day in almost 2 years then I get the flu. Oh well. I was super happy with todays benching. I felt strong, my lifts looked smooth and my confidence is building. All good things. I have decided to go back with my Metal Jack Bencher for now. It just seems to be doing what I want it to do and the shirt is giving me the pop I want. This shirt is over 3 years old but I have several mods done to it. It is now perfect for me.
My Team is closing in on their meet so the next couple weeks they will be doing openers and second attempts and non meet lifters will be hitting projections and more. A very exciting couple weeks to see my Teammates hitting PR's and building confidence going into the meet. We have 12 lifters competing at this meet. We also have 4 first timers. 2 of them teens. I love our new generation of lifters coming up at Nebobarbell!
