My body is feeling pretty good up til this point besides the normal aches and pains of being old battered and beaten. Melissa and I are staying on top of our body buffering, I'm doing contrast showers every day, hydro massages a couple of times a week, body tempering throughout the week and also cupping throughout the week. Of course she is keeping me fed like a king, eating well and staying hydrated with this heat we are having and we are both getting plenty of rest.
Melissa is looking fantastic in all of her lifts in preparation in her upcoming meet. We have nine lifters competing in the IPA World Championships. I will not be lifting in this event but I will be coaching and working extremely hard in making sure all of my lifters have what they need to succeed.
This training cycle for everyone has been brutal. I have tweaked some things here and there, focused more on some higher intensity lifts earlier than normal in our training blocks. So far everything is looking very good at this point and each of them are looking on pace to hit big numbers.
I am raw dog benching today and putting in extra work on my triceps so pretty much everything I did today was to focus on my lockout.
