After the midweek off from training, I decided to work up to a heavy singles this weekend....

 

Saturday

box squats - box at parallel

worked up to 690 for 2 singles

 

rack pulls

worked up to the bar full (with bumper plates) for a triple

....bumper plates are ridiculous unless you actually need to drop the bar for the movement....

 

hanging leg raises

2 sets to failure

 

reverse hypers

90 for 3 sets of 20

 

Sunday

 

bench against chains

worked up to 275 then added chains until reaching 5 chains per side for a single

315 plus 5 chains for a single

 

lat pulldowns - behind the head

100 for 4 sets of 12

 

standing barbell military press - behind the head

95 for 4 sets of 8

 

dumbbell curls

30's for 3 sets of 20

 

I backed off on the squats a bit because my knees weren't feeling good.  Trying to pay attention to my body more and adjust before pain sets in rather than after.
