I wanted to provide a quick update on my schedule for the next month as my training log posts may be less frequent; at least in regards to actual workouts.  Reason being is there’s not much excitement posting depletion workouts, lol.  Yes, it’s contest season for me!  I’ve already signed contracts to compete in the Arctic Pro 212 in Anchorage Alaska next weekend as well as the Vancouver BC 212 Pro the weekend following July 4th.

Aiming for these two contests I found myself in respectable contest condition early and jumped into the Toronto Pro last weekend placing 4th.

I certainly hoped for a higher placement, but received a lot of positive feedback from judges, spectators and industry experts.  My focus in now on Anchorage and then possibly Chicago one week before the Vancouver BC contest.

Here is a pic I took back stage waiting for the results.

What made this past weekend super-special was getting to compete alongside my good friend and training coach, John Meadows.  Anyone who knows John understands his integrity and authenticity is incredibly high.  Quality, classy people are not always the norm in bodybuilding, but it certainly is the case with John.

Anyway, I plan to keep grinding away until Vancouver BC and will do my best to post a few “normal” training sessions along the way.  As for this week, I got home Sunday and went right back into depletion-mode for Anchorage.

Thank you to all those who follow my training log and see value in it.  I had a guy come up to me walking out of the Toronto Convention Center after prejudging to tell me he’s an avid follower of my articles and training logs on Elitefts.  It meant a lot to me!
