After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm now in off season mode getting back to some heavy training while running my gym, THIRST.

Over the past couple of week I have been incredibly busy with business, work, attending a seminar, helping at a competition, and getting sick. Between the past couple of weeks I've been lucky if I've been able to train once to twice a week, and when I did, I just went after it and started lifting with some hypertrophy stuff. I'll be honest, I didn't write anything down and didn't go in with any direct plan.
Why would I do this?
I'm not a huge "deload" guy when it comes to planning them during training except when they need to be planned for competitions and big life events. Life events are your deloads. Things that I mentioned above (traveling, sick, family issues, etc.) are great time to get out of the gym and do those other things and and give them the time that they deserve.
I did some back training here, and some leg training there, but nothing was consistent, plan driven, or really though out all that much. So much that I didn't even bother writing them down. I'm not sure exactly where my training is going right now, which makes it even harder to put together a training log to explain what I'm doing - hence this post to basically summarize the lack of training.
Over the past week or so, I have been able to get some training in, which I will have posts scheduled to come up in the coming days as I try to tie down and get some kind of schedule coming again. It's going to be a lot of trial and error, but I'll see what I'm able to make happen.
If you're someone in a similar boat, take this as a way to understand that you're not alone on having times where making training fits, let alone having a true schedule that would be "ideal". Know that this is okay and part of everyday life. Sometimes those periods are for the best so that when you can get back to training rather decently, it's going to come back with fire and you're going to feel rather good.
