Events @ The Unit

Today was my next to last event day of this higher volume endurance nonsense.  My event training has varied somewhat and not all been super endurancey stuff, but in general has followed the trend of longer distances and higher reps.

Yoke

2x100' x 250

100' x240

100' x 540

2x100' x 630 - The first run felt atrocious so I repeated here before going up and it was much better.

100' x 680 - The plan was just to go up to 680-700 tops since I did not want to try and set a new weight record for 100' today and to get at lest 3 runs in that felt like I was doing work, which I did.  But then when I was cleaning up I decided to try to set a record at a longer distance, 150'.

150' x 540 - This was 20 lbs up from what I did last time and much easier in terms of my energy systems utilization so if nothing else, my work capacity has improved over the last 2 training blocks.

50' x 450 - Just carrying it back to my storage unit to unload and clean up, a.k.a. strongman GPP.

Seated Arm Over Arm Prowler Drag

3x50' x prowler + 400 - With a 50' low handle push on the prowler with 200 lbs and a 200 lb sandbag carry for 50' between each run - more GPP.

One-Motion Atlas Stone Series (tackyless to 52")

3x{1x200, 1x240, 1x280} - It took me until the 3rd set to get the one-motion load on the 280 stone.

1x200, 1x240, 2x280 - The second one-motion with 280 was the slowest I have ever loaded an atlas stone in my life.
