I like to teach using the Yoke bar by telling the squatter to hunch up and create the "pad" with the traps. That way you save your spinous process of the cervical vertebrae.
Then, to engage the lats, push the handles up in the front while keeping the elbows tucked in and shoving (here we go again...) into the back pocket. (hmmm, sounds like the bench???)
Spreading the floor with LOCKED DOWN feet is the next cue and then "SIT YOUR ASS BACK LIKE YOU'RE GOING TO POOP ON THE TOILET SEAT" rounds out all the instruction.
OH YEA....Last..." Explode the bar up by trying harder". always does it!
