I had a couple of questions regarding the increased amount of sets we were doing today for Dynamic work.
Physiologically speaking (big words) the more significant the training age of a person (which is not to be confused with chronological age) the fewer complete sets that can be done because the amount of muscle recruitment is much higher in the greater training-aged athlete.
However, for our purposes of the day, I needed to make sure everyone's techniques were "dialed" in, and with the number of participants we had, I needed more coaching "reps".
What I communicated to my TEAMS was, "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards and pussies".
And with that, we ended the debate over the increased set count.
