People wonder why I go through a three workout tryout...???
It's because I can determine after three days whether that person QUALIFIES or not to make my team.
I'm at a stage in my coaching career where I don't care if a person likes me or not. They don't come in to "check me out". I have them train for three days in order to see if I want to spend my time with them or not.
Yesterday, one of my younger participants wanted to bring his friend in. I agreed and what does this kid walk into? YUP! PROWLER push.
I didn't even introduce myself before I pointed to the sled and bellowed, "PUSH THAT!!!"
The young man began to walk it the front 60 yards when I got right up on him and said..."You can RUN that motherfucker if you want..."
So he did. I could see him wavering after the third 120 yard push. Then he turned pale, then green. It wouldn't be long before we got to see what he had for breakfast.
No sooner said than he hurls in front of the gate where we push.
If you know me, I never break character. I never sympathize with the participant. I stone-faced give him his "hurling instructions".
"NEVER vomit right here. That causes a clusterchuck! You do know what a clusterchuck is...right?"
Clusterchucking is when someone vomits and it creates a chain reaction of others to join in with sympathy puke!
"If you have to chuck...do it way over there. When you are finished, get back here and finish your reps".
He lasted perhaps 10 minutes.
Needless to say, he didn't come back today!
He disqualified himself from my program in the same instant!
Go join a shit gym where you can work on your mirror muscle.
I only want people that thrive on adversity!
