This week has been bitter-sweet for me. My college kids are going back to school, and a few of my adult participants have sold their homes and are moving out of the area as well.

The gym is emptying out like the Boardwalk at the beach when summer comes to an end.

I have a personal issue with saying "Goodbye". I can't do it! That's why I adopted the Hawaiian term, "Aloha" which means both but it seems like you're saying "Hi", OR...I will say, "See ya later". It doesn't seem like the end for me that way. Even though I have a couple of people that are going away from the area to attend school and their parents are moving too.

YIKES! The kid told me that this might be the last time we see each other. WHAT? How permanent. But he's right!

This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last, but it always ends the same way.

I tell them ALL, "Once you have become a part of my team, it's like being a "made man" in the Mafia. You will ALWAYS be a part of it. I send you off knowing that you have learned more than how to get into shape and stay strong, but you are mentally prepared for what EVER life throws at you!"

I tell them to excel at everything. "You don't wake up every day to be mediocre, so DON'T be".

I tell them to make sure they stay connected by coming here and getting the workouts that I post (DAILY and for FREE!)

I tell them to make sure they call home DAILY and tell their moms and dads that they love them! (You never want to miss the opportunity to do that. One day you won't be able to)

and lastly, I tell them that both" Jesus and I love you"! Because WE do!

I'll miss them until they come home on a break or holiday. I DEMAND they stop in and train with me while they are home.

I also demand from them the same level of intensity while they are away as they have learned from me over the summer (or for as long as they have trained with me)

Single Arm DB Fly: 3x12 this was done to torque up the core more so than to actually pump the pec.

Ab Wheel: 4x12
