If I didn't get comfortable with the uncomfortable, it would be me and I couldn't give anyone a rash of crap that I am notorious for. Man the fuck up and git er done!

It hardly EVER rains here in California. As a matter of fact, we are in the middle of another drought and it will impact us this summer when it becomes "Wild Fire" season.

However, today was a rare day that the forecast called for "showers", and most everyone knows my form of transportation around my town is via bicycle.

The only time I won't ride is when it's pouring out at the beginning of the ride. You know, looking out the door and seeing it come down as if you should be collecting two of every species...

I didn't see any rain when I started out the door at 4:00 AM, so I thought, "what the hell..." I went for it.

At the mid-way point on the ride, I became part of the first wave of storms passing through. I was at the point that it wouldn't make sense to turn around so I continued on. SOAKING wet I got to the gym, opened the doors, stripped down, and got to drying my outerwear, hoping for a break in storms when I went home.

NOPE! It was sunny for a brief moment and then the rains were back.

All in all, If you can safely take a shower without melting, you surely can play in the rain.
