I think it was about 30 years ago that I changed my thinking about dreading Monday.

I was sitting in my living room with a bunch of friends on a Sunday when the bitching started about it being the end of the weekend, and how we had to get back to the grind the next day.

When out of the blue, I thought, "dang...I am hoping 5/7th of my life away. (well, more like 4/7ths because no one minds Friday, right?)

Right then and there, I decided that Sunday night was my night of anticipation and readiness. That I couldn't wait for Monday because it was NEW and the START of the week. That I GET TO participate and make an entirely new batch of successes and failures.

I have always been the type of person that likes to "zig" when others are "zagging". Never to be one of the crowd, this small adjustment has made EVERY DAY a great one of anticipation and wonder. PLUS +++ It pisses the nay sayers and get a longs off to NO END.

What fun...
