Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to those who celebrate different holidays this time of year. Today, I am going to give you my 3 Christmas Wishes for 2022. Read it. It’s a quick one.

In no particular order here they are:

Wish number 1 in my 3 Christmas Wishes for 2022:

I wish you all PR’s in the New Year.

If you are reading my logs, training is a priority in your life.  One of the biggest and most rewarding parts of training is a PR.

And it should not matter how small.

A PR is not only adding 5 pounds to your squat. It might be doing the same weight you did before with better technique, more speed or something else that shows and improvement.

Measure your PR’s in inches not yards!

Santa Murph 3 Christmas Wishes for 2022

Wish number 2 in my 3 Christmas Wishes for 2022:

I would like to wish all of you the gift of health in the New Year. This may sound cliché, but believe me it isn’t. Never take your health for granted. You’ll understand if you or a loved one loses it.  I have a relative with Stage 3 cancer, and I know that they appreciate the days that they feel well.

As we get older, being fit, mobile and pain and illness free seems to take a priority. As it should. If you aren’t taking the best care of your mental and physical health now, start today. Make a small change to be a little better today than you were yesterday.  

Small changes add up.

Wish number 3 in my 3 Christmas Wishes for 2022:

Happiness.

This is probably the most difficult one for many. But it is also probably the most important. If we are not happy with ourselves and our lives, it can have a negative effect on all of the other aspects of life.

Do something small today that sets you up for longer term happiness. And I don’t mean eat a cheesecake.

I do mean that you think about things that make you unhappy and do one thing to eliminate them.

Is it toxic people in your life? Get rid of them.

Or could it be your job? Do something to get yourself into a line of work that is rewarding to you.

Your weight or appearance? Read my logs for simple nutrition and training advice and apply the knowledge consistently.

I can write many more examples, but I know my readers are intelligent. Put some thought into the happiness part and develop a plan to make it better.

If you do this, you will not regret it.
