I like to create tension. No, not that kind that you get with all the drama but the tension that is used to create more muscle innervation.
To do that, one of the easiest methods I find helpful is to "over-grip." or "choke the shit out of..." every bar that you hold.
We could use Fat Gripz, but I find just over gripping the bar in your hand to be just as helpful. I mean...grab that bar as if you wanted to imprint your fingers in it. White knuckles kind of stuff. Don't let up on it until the set is complete and your forearms look like a broken windshield with the veins popping.
