As a Strength and Conditioning Coach for some GREAT Head Coaches over my career they have always let me give a pre-game pep talk to the players before heading out to the field or ice.

When we won (which was more often than not, Thank God) I would write down what ever I shared with the team IF I could remember.

Here's one of those diatribes that I let fly on a Friday night before a high school football game we played.

I hope it gets you up the way it did my boys!

Don't show weakness in the face of failure.  Don't show shyness when it’s time to perform.  Refuse to back down in the face of adversity, and quitting is never an option.
