In THIS post I opened a discussion of things you can do to discover your purpose, aim, passion or whatever you want to call it. You know what I mean, the reason you are here and do what you do - or are not doing what you want to do.
If you really think about this why should they?
They have their own purpose in life they are working toward. When these align it's great - when they don't, it's not that it's not great but different. Different is also good. Difference can help to guide you away from what you don't want to become while providing others with something else to aspire to. It would suck if we were all the same but also suck if nobody shared or had an aligned purpose.
In this post I want to toss out another question. We have all heard and read the statements...
"if you love what you do you will never work in your life"
"money isn't everything".
Personally I think these are statements of circumstance and situation. We all know people who love their jobs but have to work their ass off to do it. We also know without money life can be hard, very hard. With both statements, they can either define you or be the force to create change.
It's called "work" for a reason. How is it that was are told "Marriage is Work" but if you "Love" your job you will never work a day in your life? Think about how dumb this really sounds.
REALLY!
Let's by pass all this and get to the point of this post...
Your purpose.
One question:
If you had ALL the money you could even need or spend what would you do with your time?
Good question Dave.
