You may recall that I am a person who likes routine and order, I’ve written about it before. I am not a huge fan of chaos, unless I have a few whiskeys in me than all bets are off.
Just ask Spud, Selkow or even the dashingly handsome Casey Williams.
Anyway, my team has been killing themselves getting us ready to move, moved and then set up in the new space. A ton of friends and members helped too. There are too many people to list individually.
When I say they have been killing themselves I mean it. The amount of work that was done in the amount of time it was done in is hard to believe. We got the building scrubbed, painted, built out, scrubbed again, moved in, scrubbed and touch up painted in just about 90 days.
That’s fast.
The move:
We packed up a 30,000 square foot gym, kept the best stuff, and got rid of the rest, moved it and got everything ready for the members to train in less than 2 weeks. Think about that. I am sure you’ve moved an apartment or a house before right? Imagine doing that with a 3 story gym!
I don’t know how they did it but they did and I cannot express my thanks, gratitude, appreciation to all of the team and volunteers for what they did for TPS.
We are having some growing (or downsizing) pains that have been discovered and were unforeseen.
We knew there would be issues and we hope all of our members understand that we are getting them addressed as fast as we can. The crappy thing about these issues is that they are beyond our control.
We had to deal with a lot of issues and the ones that we had control over in this process, such as moving, were handled well, as a matter of fact, I may subcontract my team out in the future as the new A-Team they did so well. The things we are dealing with now are out of our control like being lied to by sleazy software sales people and we now have a virtually worthless management/accounting system that is undergoing constant crashes, bugs and other things that make for a bad customer experience.
The ladies room shower just went haywire and we need to get it fixed and the girls won’t like that. The brand new roof is dripping oil onto the brand new turf and there are 100 other little nuisances to get through.
The point here, not to whine, but to let you know that TPS is here.
We are open. We are aware of the issues and will get them fixed quickly.
TPS is back to its roots.
Strength.
All buff, no fluff.
If you want to train at the best gym in New England filled with the best equipment from EliteFTS and the best atmosphere to get better, this is your gym.
Thanks to all of the people who helped us get here.
Now maybe I can get back to training and writing about getting strong.
